I WAIT

December 24, 2008

When you joined our hearts
You became a part of us,
no longer a separate being left
alone in this world.
You were given a gift as
the caretaker to a life spirit being, yours.
The most precious reason we are here
is to watch over and be caretakers.
To teach what is true to the heart.
Not to please and gather up things for self
because that is what went wrong.
The ancestors lived in collective groups.
The group  acted as a whole ....as one.
When and if someone sought only
preservation for themselves as one,
they were left to self, and turned
away from the group.
This simple act has evolved into what exists today.
The one who turned away fathered half of
our society who has been taught
to seek pleasure for ones self. They can not be
happy. They can not find love within objects and things.
They always feel like something important
is missing in their life. They try to fill that missing
void, but are not successful, they can not.
They judge themselves on relationships and possessions,
and wonder what is wrong with them.
They seek a dream that will never exist for them
because they run away.
They run away from the group.
The other half of society is the Group.
The group that works together, are humble and properly appreciate
and apply spirit gifts. The group has their tasks in order.
They do not try to dominate, for domination
is controlling others not guiding them  The group shares a sincere
order of respect, of knowledge passed down and  knows they have
protection within their Group (when all or one is threatened).
When one learns this,  they will no longer be the bee that sees
what they want,  yet keeps flying into the glass window pane
along side many others..
They will then notice the old spirit who has always been at the open door to
shows them the way to freedom, the way to fill that void,
and the way back to the group.
I am an old spirit.
I offer
and I wait.
